Windows 10: Safety and Security

I appear to have a trojan horse virus on a laptop computer which is now disabled. I downloaded Microsoft Safety Scanner version 1 on a clean computer and transferred via a usb drive and ran a full scan which viruses etc had been found and removed, on closing the scanner the problem remained. I ran the scanner again during the scan it showed 10 infected files but when it completed it said no problems and was clean.

That made me so facepalm. Some people have absolutely no clue. I hope they don't take you for granted with all this you're doing for them.

SonicWall is a good security product, so Mindweaver's suggestion sounds like a good one and should make for a rather bigger baby step. Let's hope they take it.

 

Unable to block youtube using family safety
