    Same issue, line underneath the screen, has never been fixed.


    I've had this line appear underneath the screen for a while now, right underneath the taskbar. It is a glitchy yellow line that starts flashing and freaking out constantly. I've already sent it in under warranty, only for it to be sent back saying that there is no issues with the unit. I have already tried DDU, system restore, clean install of windows 10, updating all drivers and windows up to date. It happens when i put the laptop into discrete mode. I have no idea why this keeps happening, and i have yet to have anyone help me with it at all. Here is video of the issue

    win 10 update leaves vertical pink line on screen

    today i applied latest win 10 update and now i have a vertical pink line on screen, it remains on every screen. i have tried these fixes

    Step 1: I suggest you to run SFC scan,
    System File Checkeris a utility in Windows that allows users to scan for corruptions in Windows system files and restore corrupted files.

    Follow the below steps:

    • Right click on the Start button, click on
      Command Prompt (Admin).
    • Type “sfc /scannow” without the quotes and hit
      Enter.
    • After the scan, restart the computer and check for the issue.
    Step 2: Also, I suggest you to update the display drivers and check.

    Steps to Update the Display Adapter driver.

    • Press Windows key + Xkey when you are at desktop.
    • Select Device Manager.
    • Expand Display Adapter.
    • Right on the Display Adapter and click on
      Update driver software
    BUT i still have the line on screen.

    strange issues (black screen, blue screen, and freezes)

    Memory or PSU gets my vote......although the 8800GT is getting alittle long in the tooth now.....but I'll stick with my 1st 2 suggestions.....get into the bios and check your voltage on your +3.3/ +5/and +12 lines and list them here.

    GPU-Z what command line parameter ?

    Suggestion: /? (-?) and /help (-help) command-line arguments to show a list of all possible arguments in a small window. *Smile Same issue, line underneath the screen, has never been fixed. :)
