Windows 10: Same Microsoft Account on 3 PC's but give each a different name

I use my Microsoft Account on 3 PC's / Laptops. Let's say the account name is - 'Andrew'When I edit a document stored on OneDrive from one PC and then go back to that same document on another PC it tells me the document was previously edited by 'Andrew' but does not enable identification of which PC that change was done on.Is there a way to give each machine an identity - e.g.Andrew - Home PCAndrew - Home LaptopAndrew - Work LaptopBut still using the same Microsoft Account.So that I know which machine last edited a document.Any help appreciated.

Edge Search Does Not Permit Change of Region


I got these suggestions from the Microsoft Community forum.No. 1 worked for me:

Thank you for posting the query on Microsoft Community. I am glad to assist you on this.
We have reproduce the issue here and we are able to access non-regional search for google using Microsoft Edge.
I would suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps.
Step 1:
Clear browsing data option of Microsoft Edge and check if you face the issue. To do so perform the steps below.

1. Click on the More actions icon next to the feedback icon present on top right corner of the Project Spartan homepage.
2. Select Settings and click on Choose what to clear.
3. Check the boxes Browsing history, Cookies and saved website data and Cached data and files and click on Clear.

Step 2:
I suggest you to create a new user account and check if the issue occurs.

1. Go to Settings.
2. Choose Accounts and then select Family and other users.
3. Select add someone else on this PC.
4. Enter a user name and hit next.
5. Click on Finish.
6. Sign out from the current Account and Log into the new account.

Step 3:
It could also happen because of network issue. I suggest you to try with different network connection and check if it helps.

 

Query about changing the account name

Since you have already changed the name on your Microsoft account, we suggest switching into a local account, and then log back in with your Microsoft account. This way, we can be sure that any changes made to your Microsoft account will be synced to your
local user account.

For steps on how to switch to a local account:

• Click on Start.
• Click on Settings.
• Click on Accounts.
• Under Your account, click on Switch to a local account.

To switch back to a Microsoft account:

• Follow steps 1-3 above to get to Accounts.
• Under Your account, click on Sign in with a Microsoft account instead.

Microsoft account considers two different pcs to be one pc changing name

When i add a microsoft account to pc4, pc6 disappears from the list of devices in the microsoft account. When i remove microsoft account from pc6 and re-add it, pc 6 reappears in the list of devices in the microsoft account but pc 4 disappears. It is as
if microsoft account considers pc4 and pc6 to be the same machine which is changing names. Both pcs have identical hardware and windows 10. I have other pcs with identical hardware uner the same account but there is no problem with microsoft account. Can i
do something to resolve this issue with microsoft account?
