Same old Networking problem with every 19XX build

Yesterday, January 29, 2020 I came home to find that my Desktop Windows 10 home 64 bit updated to the new 1909 build which gave me a sinking feeling that quickly manifested to what I expected would happen. Both my laptops also Windows 10 home lost access to my Network. This is the same problem I've had with previous builds of 19XX which prompted me to adjust settings to prevent any Microsoft updates but somehow this one got through. I had to revert back to the previous install of 1803 and everything works again. I also disabled auto update again.

A year ago, or more, when the first 19XX build was released I had the same problem with my wireless laptops not seeing the network and all the communications I had with Microsoft tech support, all the adjustments, and reloading Windows they made me try, failed to get my Laptops to see the Network. There final solution was to revert back to the previous build. This time I just didn't bother talking to them because it would just be a time consuming failure.....again.

Has anyone else experienced loss of network connectivity with this build? Just curious.

    • Change the startup type to Automatic.

    • Click on Start button.

    • Click on Apply, Ok.
Restart the computer and verify if it works.

Also check if all the dependencies are also running. Try the steps to check Dependencies.

    • Right-click on WLAN Autoconfig and select Properties.

    • Click on Dependencies, you will find all the dependency services under box labeled this service depends on the following system components.
Step 2: Run an inbuilt Network troubleshooter.
