Windows 10: Sample question changes from "Buy a book online" to "Windows 10 Upgrade"

On Windows XP, when I first open up the Internet Search Companion on either Windows Explorer or Internet Explorer 6, first I have the sample question, "Buy a book online." When I click on it, it just takes me to Bing instead of showing me how to "buy a book online"; when I go back, however, now the sample question has permanently changed to "Windows 10 Upgrade," and it remains the same!! Can you tell me the reason why's that??

Microsoft Access Books and the Sample Files

Dear Microsoft Community,

I have recently come across two books that I have found to be very exciting. The two books are old, but not too old. I have always wanted to learn Microsoft Access, and have 2 very nice books, but the books have been separated from the floppy disks that
contain the sample files. Since I already own Microsoft Access 2000, and the books are easy to understand, I am asking if anyone has, or knows how I can obtain copies of these two floppy disks, please help.

The first book is titled: Microsoft Access 2000 Step by Step ISBN: 1-57231-976-3 (the floppy disk with the sample files is missing.

The second book is titled: Microsoft Access/Visual Basic Step by Step ISBN: 1-55615-890-4 (the floppy disk with the sample files is missing.

If anyone can help me find downloads, or a means to purchase these files, please help.

Windows 10 upgrade problem, no input accepted

I really hate having to come here and ask for help, but I really am stumped. It hurts my geek pride. I have a PC with fairly modern hardware in it. It has a p8p67 pro in it. I have tried upgrading windows 10 on it twice now. Both times I have had the same result.

After windows finishes upgrading it goes to the log in/set up screen. I can't do anything. No keyboard or mouse input is accepted.

I will list some, or hopefully all, of the troubleshooting steps I have tried:

• Move keyboard and mouse to different USB ports.
• Try different keyboard or mouse.
• Restart computer, repeatedly.
• Google for related issues.
• Update Bios, because why not.
• Create boot media and revert to windows 7.

The windows 10 system restore boot media works fine with keyboard and mouse. All USB ports work in windows 7. I don't know what is wrong. I suspect that windows 10 is lacking a driver of some sort, but since the computer accepts no input I have no way of checking for which driver let alone installing it.

Please help me figure this out. If I have to revert back to windows 7 again, I am not going to get it upgraded to windows 10. Thank you in advanced.

I'll revert back to windows 7 then.

When I still was on windows 7, about a year ago I added 4GB extra ram which is a total of 8GB now,
is that causing the problem?
