Windows 10: Samsung 870EVO not visible during windows install

Hi,I bought a new Samsung 870EVO SSD to improve the speed of my dell Inspiron 3650. When I first plugged it in it appeared to be merged with my hdd as one large c:\ drive storage. While attempting to get the computer to recognize that it was a separate drive I ended up wiping all my data. Now I'm trying to do a fresh install of windows and the disk is visible in bios but not from the windows installer. I've tried a bunch of fixes already including the rst fix and the unplug the sata cable but let bios run for a while fix. I'm ready to ask for help and I've reached out to Samsung but I thought

Samsung 870EVO not visible during windows install

So I messed around with the bios settings but that didn't work. I also tried the command prompt, it showed only disk 1 which was the USB stick with the windows install.

I went ahead and installed windows to my hdd. The device manager sees the drive but the disk manager does not. I opened the Samsung data migration tool, since it's a Samsung sdd, and that too saw the drive but recorded it as empty. The Samsung app for the product, magician, did not register the disk and only saw my hdd.

 

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
