Windows 10: Samsung DeX completely took over Your Phone app

Recently, I installed the Samsung DeX on my PC and I noticed my "Your Phone" app stopped functioning. Aren't they supposed to be independent from one another?


Samsung DeX is a great concept, but it only works with USB cable hooked up to PC. Even after uninstalling the program the "Your Phone" app never resurrected. I'm assuming Samsung DeX put something on the computer that cannot be removed by simple uninstalling.


Any workaround is appreciated.

Windows 10 High Contrast and Samsung DeX on Note 9 Phone

I use the "High Contrast" setting in the "Ease of Access" control screen in Windows 10 to help me see my screens more easily. I have also been successfully using Samsung DeX with my Samsung Note 9 phone with no problems until now. I have recently re-installed
Windows 10 on my HP ProBook 650 G1 Laptop. Since that time, DeX has run at a crawl whenever I have the "High Contrast" on. DeX runs well when I turn off "High Contrast". With the previous install, this was not a problem and I could use "High Contrast" for
any windows application on a second screen. For example, I often use WordPad with the "High Contrast" setting on to get a black background. Blue on Black or White on Black is my preferred way to work. I'd like to be able to use DeX for YouTube, PBS and Netflix
as I used to. Our cell phones are our only web connection. (While using DeX, I connect my PC to the internet on my cell phone using Bluetooth.) Any Help?
