  1. Samsung EVO Plus Micro SDXC 256 GB card unmounting automatically from Windows 11

I have a Samsung Galaxy Book Go with Snapdragon 7c Gen 2 running on Windows 11. I bought a Samsung EVO Plus Micro SDXC 256 GB card for storage. The problem is that the SD Card keeps unmounting automatically after few minutes and needs to be physically removed and reinserted. The memory card is perfectly fine while being used on a cellphone.I have tried another sandisk Micro SD 4GB card which works perfectly fine on the same system.

    :)

  2. Windows 10 not recognising samsung 512gb sdxc evo plus

I've just recently brought a Samsung 512gb Evo Plus SDXC micro sd card and windows 10 won't recognise the card.

When I plug it in to my laptop I hear the sound of a device being connected, then a screen pops up saying 'you need to format the disk in f: drive' and when I click on format disk, the format window pops up but says the drive is only 7.9gb and when I click
on format it gives an error saying 'cannot access drive'.

If I click on cancel format drive it just says 'cannot access drive' again.

I've gone into device manager and the f: drive comes up under portable devices and when I click on it and try update drivers it doesn't find any.

    Can anyone help?

Samsung EVO Plus Micro SDXC 256 GB card unmounting automatically from Windows 11

Clone Boot disk ( Samsung SSD 850 EVO 250 GB) to Samsung 970 EVO PLUS

To clarify, this is the present BIOS. The Storage Boot Option Control is "Legacy", and the system boots from the Samsung SSD 850 EVO 250 GB fine.

Above is what presently shows up when I load Macrium.

If I understand you correctly, use Macrium to clone the entirety of Disk 4 (SSD 850) to Disk 5 (970 EVO). Set DISK 5 as the Z:\ drive. The clone from DISK 4 to DISK 5 should wipe the prior data during the clone.

Then when I reboot, set the boot order to DISK 5 or Z:\ (970 EVO).

    Last two questions:
When in the BIOS during reboot, should the STORAGE BOOT OPTION CONTROL be set to UEFI?

Do I skip or follow the last step:
    Code:
reagentc /enable <- this will re-enable the Windows Recovery Environment but it will not be in a recovery partition, it will stay on the new C: drive
reagentc /info <- this will show you where the Windows Recovery Environment is

    Thank you so much NavyLCDR!!!
