    Hi,

    every time I connect my device to my ASUS laptop it charges but I can't transfer files. When I open the Device Manager and I double click on "MTP USB Device" (Which appears when I connect my device Samsung Galaxy S6 not recognized, Windows cannot verify the digital signature (Code 52) 5f1ebcae-ed42-48cb-b530-9e9cc1b408e4?upload=true.png ), I get this error:

    "Windows cannot verify the digital signature for the drivers required for this device. A recent hardware or software change might have installed a file that is signed incorrectly or damaged, or that might be malicious software from an unknown source. (Code 52)".

    I tried disabling Driver Signature Enforcement in advanced boot option and when I connected the device, it was recognized and I was able to transfer files. Obviously after I rebooted the Driver Signature Enforcement was enabled again.

    I've then tried disabling it permanently using the command "bcdedit /set testsigning on". This time, after rebooting I just had a watermark in at the bottom-right of my desktop and the drivers didn't work.


    I then created a partition and made a clean installation on windows 10. The smartphone got recognized without any issues.


    How do I make it work on my main partition without making a clean installation? This is also kind of weird because I didn't install any USB drivers manually. (I'm also not getting any updates in Windows Update)

    Windows 10 not recognizing Samsung Galaxy S6

    Windows 10 does not recognize Samsung Galaxy S6. Saw numerous threads for past 6 months that show this was a debacle. Any changes or updates that allows this to work to transfer media files? Tried all available USB ports and different cables. Seems like
    an issue that covers many Android phone types and worked on other versions of windows.
