  1. Samsung Galaxy Tabpro S locks up in Tablet mode after update to Windows 10 Pro Version 1803

I've seen some users on the US Samsung site have experienced this problem. Basically after windows update has pushed the update to version 1803 my tablet stopped working. The only way to get it to work again is to recycle the power to it. After doing this you can get logged in again but it the stops after around 10mins use. There are only 2 ways to get it to work properly and they are either to connect the physical keyboard to it, or, do a recover to the last version of windows. This last one is not ideal as windows update then reinstalls the update again about 20 mins later.

The community option of help is also the only working help option available as both call back options simply take you to a parental consent web page and chat simply reloads the help page options. once again the customer is left between 2 global players that really dont care much about the end user....

Is anyone else having the same issue? and does anyone have a proper fix for it short of a hammer or tablet change lol!

    :)

Samsung Galaxy TabPro S, and Bitlocker, and PRE-boot on-screen keyboard?

Galaxy TabPro S Gold and Bitlocker and Windows 10 Pro

    samsung galaxy TabPro S gold (256g drive,8 g memory)

I just upgraded to Windows 10 pro so I could use Bitlocker.

this way I can travel, and have personal business documents on the machine, encrypted.

When I cold boot the machine, I want Bitlocker to request a PIN.

HOWEVER, Bitlocker starts to encrypt the drive (when installed) without requesting what PIN I Want.

I changed the Bitlocker registry settings, to require TPM + PIN

but then tried to encrypt teh drive and bitlocker states that some policies are in conflict.

The issue seems to be that since this is a tablet (even though it has an external keyboard), Bitlocker is concerned whether the onscreen keyboard will work as a PRE-BOOT keyboard; that is, come up at BOOT-UP, Not just come up at the WINDOWS Log-ON

can ANYONE tell me if this device's keyboard can indeed come up at a PRE-BOOT time, thus letting Bitlocker get a PIN ENTRY from on-screen?

AND, also, what are the correct Bitlocker Settings for the machine

    GPEDIT.MSC from command line

Local -> Administrative -> Windows -> Bitlocker -> Operating System Drives

aNY HELP to clarify is appreciated.

ALSO, if KEYBOARD cannot b e used, can a USB stick be used, and allow the parameters to work?
