Windows 10: samsung keyboard aask5pwub

I need to buy a new keyboard for my Samsung Computer. I am thinking about buying off of e-bay; however I found the exact keyboard that came with my computer but it says no usb port comes with it? What does that mean and will it already operate with what I have from the old one. The old one works but a few keys are broken and labels faded, will the old usb that I have now work with the new keyboard?

Samsung 9 Series Keyboard Backlight Issue


I was struggling with this over the past week when I finally upgraded and wanted to pass along how I fixed the problem. I found this PDF on the Samsung site and downloaded the Samsung SW Update listed in step 3.

Once I installed that all the functionality of my function keys returned. Hope this helps some sad late adopted like me.

I suggest you to check if the issue persists when you connect another keyboard to your system.

If the issue is with the keyboard, then suggest you to update the keyboard drivers by following the steps below.

• 
  Press Windows key + X and select
  Device Manager from the list.
  
• 
  Expand ‘Keyboard’ from the list.
  
• 
  Right click on the driver and select ‘update driver software’ and follow the prompts.

To address your concern, we suggest that you try the following steps:

• Click Start and then click Settings
• Click on Ease of access
• Click Keyboard in the left pane
• Turn off Filter Keys in the right pane

Also, try pressing the Fn+ Num Lock keys to turn off the Number lock function.
