    Intel RST not running after installing Samsung Magician

    Hi,

    I am using a Samsung SSD 840 Pro 512gb on my laptop with latest Windows 10 updates. I installed Samsung Magician. I just realize that Intel RST is not running. Is that normal? Is it because only 1 SSD software could be used? So should I uninstall Magician
    or Intel RST or leave them? Thanks for your help.

    Samsung Magician (latest - v4.6) for EVO SSDs

    Samsung Magician v4.6 does NOT work with Windows 10 in so much that Rapid Mode does not function as it does not recognise the OS level. Samsung acknowledge this but will not give a date for an upgrade though they "are working on it". Very poor given that my
    EVO 840 1TB is less than 3 months old. Does anyone know of a work-around? The PC does work but performance is degraded.

    On the other hand, I also have another PC with a SanDisk SSD. Their software works fine with Windows 10 - it did an update the first time I ran it under Windows 10.

    So, come on Samsung! You claim to be the market leader on SSDs but your support is sadly lacking.
