Windows 10: Samsung Magician - Start up option

Discus and support Samsung Magician - Start up option in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; Hello, Running W10 pro on a desktop PC with two Samsung SSD EVO850 drives.     Samsung Magician - Start up option


    Hello,

    Running W10 pro on a desktop PC with two Samsung SSD EVO850 drives. Samsung Magician is installed and Over Provisioning is set on both SSD's. I have also set the OS Optimisation options and Rapid mode on the boot drive in Magician.

    If I use CCleaner to disable Magician in the start up programs list, will I lose these apparent benefits, or can I safely disable Magician in Start Up programs?

    Theory - I will seldom if ever use Magician after making these settings so it is merely wasting resources if it is just loading every time I start the PC for the heck of it.

    Yes you are right. There is a caching and optimisation tool installed.

    I have a Samsung SSD that came with "Samsung Magician" software.

    Maybe this is causing the problem!?

    But my problem is showing up also on my external portable drive and even on usb sticks.

    Samsung Magician only affects my SSD.

    How to Enable AHCI for SSD in Windows 10.

    AHCI mode looks enabled on Bios, but disabled on Samsung Magician. Also read and write values looks correct. What gives? Is it a bug on Samsung Magician?

    Samsung Magician - Start up option

    You'll be ok. It will just disable the system try icon from loading at startup. You will then just need to go to all apps menu if you need to open it, to do anything.
