Windows 10: samsung Slate PC 7 Dock Stopped Working After Windows 10 Installation

I don't type well.

My Series 7 Slate XE700t1A I have six: 3 x -H01US, 2x -A06US, and 1x -A09US and six docks have shown both intermittent docked Ethernet connections and the notice in Device Manager that the GBE controller cannot start, code 12, because it needs resources. I am instructed there to disable other things.


What should I disable?


Bluetooth could go.

WiFi could go.


Any suggestions or is this a solved problem?


I have connectivity to 250 Mbps upload and download with M Systems speed test when working.

Without WiFi is more like 50 Mbps.

Samsung Slate PC 7 Dock Stopped Working After Windows 10 Installation

Hello. I have a Samsung Series 7 Slate PC (XE700T1A) and a Slate PC Dock that goes with it. After I installed Windows 10 (after previously having Windows 8.1), the docking station stopped working. It appears my PC no longer detects the docking station. The
USB, 1/8" audio jack, and HDMI ports no longer function. The light on the docking station does not light up. The only positive I've found is that I can still manage to charge my PC's battery through the docking station, but all other functions don't work.

I'm wondering what the problem is. I'm also curious as to where the connector for the docking station would be listed under Device Manager.

Installing Windows 10 using Windows 7 key

Nope, you need to install Windows 10 first and make sure the Windows 7 key is transferred to your Windows account after you've installed Windows 10 (not quite sure how that works). I missed the last step and I could not activate Windows 10 after a re-install... Microsoft seem to have done everything they can to make it a PITA. Also, it's technically too late to do this now anyhow, as the upgrade offer has expired. But KMSPico works quite well...

As for getting rid of Windows, delete the Windows folder.

Hi Forum,

I own a Samsung Series 7 Slate (700T) //Build version (Bios Version 04WJ - F/W: 04WJ) and I am trying to install Windows 10 Tech Preview on it via a bootable USB.

However when I enter bios by restarting the slate while holding [vol-up+vol-down] and navigate to USB Boot options no USB boot option is listed only Keyboard scan and Timeout.

Does anyone know how I can get this to boot to USB as this problem has been puzzling me for some time.
