Windows 10: Samsung Smart Switch for PC and Android

After updating the Smart Switch App I use to sync my Android Phone to my PC the Smart Switch App is opening in Windows Media Player on the computer and will not connect and sync to my phone. When running the troubleshooting option the Issues Found: Incompatible Program. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Smart Switch on the computer and phone. Restarted between each install/uninstall. What to try next?Thank you

• Where are you trying to install the program? Is it on your Samsung S7 phone or on your Windows 10 computer?

Necesito instalar en mi PC con Windows 10 Pro, 64-bit, el programa Smart Switch de Samsung ya que en la página web oficial encuentro la ultima version y esta no es compatible con mi SO http://www.samsung.com/es/support/smartswitch/

In the phone's Backup settings you can also back up to a Samsung account you create or to a Google Account. I use both. These have worked for me to back up what I need including contacts. I use Outlook for my email and calendar which sync's across all of my
devices.

So it's not really necessary to back up using the PC unless you really want that. The other two methods to the Samsung and google accounts work sufficiently.
