Windows 10: Samsung T5 Portable SSD indexing question

I am trying to search the contents of my new T5 portable SSD drive using file explorer.

I confirmed that the drive properties box "Allow files on this drive to have its contents in addition to file properties" is checked.
I rebuilt the index including the entire SSD drive and took the drive encryption off.

When searching for files I know are on the drive, 0 results are always returned.


Any ideas why that might happen or what I can do to resolve this?

I have recently purchased a T5 portable SSD for extra carry around storage. I am able to use the drive to its full affect but, i cannot use it without the app. On most computers I access i am not the
administrator so i am not able to download the app to access the drive to store or read files. Is there a way around this situation?
