    I have a samsung windows pc, model xe-500T that was givin to me recently. the OS is windows 8. i want to upgrade to WIN 10 but i cant access the web due to internet explorer not working anymore. Any idea how i can access the web and download WIN 10? this is just one issue out of many this device is having, it was last updated in 2012. wasnt sure if any other options for downloading a different OS for this device to. thanks

    Samsung ativ smart pc 500t Successfully Updated to windows 10.

    For the longest time I sat with the Samsung ATIV 500T (Canada) stuck on WIN 8 with some corrupt settings, finally figured out the recovery partition and how to access. Re-installed WIN 8 with all settings and SIM card connecting to the wireless network (Rogers).
    Then I downloaded WIN 10's media creator (somewhere on MicroSoft's webiste) and created a USB stick / SD card with 4GB and used it to upgrade my Samsung ATIV 500T without installing any updates from Samsung. The ATIV 500T is now running WIN 10 with Wi-Fi and
    Wireless connectivity. Don't expect this tablet to be any where near as responsive as the Surface but good for LIGHT internet use, it IS an Atom processor.

    Keeping my ATIV 500T for a while longer now. Hope this helps any ATIV 500T users out there.

    a. Are you referring to ATIV Smart PC 500T?

    b. Do you also get any error code related to the device drivers?

    As per your query, I would first suggest you to install all the Windows Updates to update with all the latest definitions for your tablet PC. Please refer to the following wiki article and check if it is helpful.
