    Hi, I have been having issues with windows 10 not detecting the mounting and dismounting of hot swap SATA drives. I have a 3 drive internal hotswap cage that is directly wired to 3 SATA ports on my motherboard. Hotswap is enabled in BIOS for all ports, However Windows cannot seem to detect when a drive is plugged in or unplugged. All drives plugged in will be detected on startup, and be fully accessible, however when I remove a drive, that drive remains visible in both file explorer and device manager. In the "ghost instance" of the removed drive in file explorer, I am able to navigate some fo

    How to dismount E-SATA drive in W7x64?

    Hi all. I've just used E-SATA for the first time, plugged a drive in and copied everything off of it, but how do I safely remove it? It doesn't show in the Safely Remove Hardware menu and there's no option to dismount when I right-click the drive in My Computer.

    So, how is it done? Thanks peeps

    Dismounting an ISO file in Windows 10

    I mounted the Windows 10 installation ISO file in Windows 8 in order to install Windows 10. Once install is completed, the file is still mounted and there are no tools I am aware of to dismount it. I attempted disk management in Administrative tools, however,
    the virtual drive was not displayed. In file explorer, the virtual drive is present and the files within are accessible.

    Any idea on how to dismount this ISO file?
