Windows 10: SATA Hot-Swap Stops Working After Boot – Windows 11 LTSC + Z790 Also Affected Windows 10 LTSC

Hi everyone,I’m having a strange issue with SATA hot-swap on my system, and I’d really appreciate any input or suggestions. System Info: OS: Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC Build 26100Motherboard: MSI PRO Z790-A MAX WIFI MS-7E07CPU: Intel Core i7-12700KBIOS Version: M.80 04/10/2025Boot Mode: UEFI The Problem: Hot-swapping SATA SSDs works fine right after a reboot, but after 15–30 minutes, swapping drives no longer works — the newly inserted drive just doesn’t show up at all not in Disk Management, diskpart, or Device Manager.The only way to detect it again is to reboot or use the HotSwa

When are we expecting Windows 11 LTSC release?

Hello Team,

We are working with a Biopharmaceutical manufacturing client. Recently we updated all the PCs to latest Windows 10 22H2 version. We are also upgrading all the applicable PCs to Win 10 2019 LTSC and 2021 LTSC. Customer also looks forward to upgrade Windows 10 22H2 version to LTSC for which the corresponding LTSC version is not released yet.

Can you please let us know when can we expect Windows 11 LTSC? Also is it possible to upgrade Windows 10 22H2 to Windows 11 LTSC?

Kindly guide us to accomplish the Windows 10 22H2 to LTSC upgrade.

Can't boot and install Windows 10 Entreprise 1809 LTSC (2019 LTSC)

I'm trying to do a fresh install of Windows 10 Entreprise 1809 LTSC (2019 LTSC) x64 on ZBook Fury 15.6 inch G8 IDS (Base Model), can't do anything.

Laptop have i7-11850H Intel CPU, which is not listed as supported processor on Microsoft page :

Otherwise, Intel Support provides me information that i7-11th gen should be supported by the OS :

As far as I know, windows 11 ltsc will be released in the second half of 2024, so is there a LTSC release every 3 years? Thanks Microsoft!
