Windows 10: SATA stopped working after upgrading to W11. Please help.

Dear all,My SATA drives 3xSSD, 1xDVD RW stopped working after upgrading to W11.All show in BIOS but not drive manager.All drives worked hours earlier in W10.All chipset drivers are up to date.Uninstalling the SATA driver and restarting did not help. Scan disk is clear.Could TPM / Bitlocker cause this somehow? Boot drive M.2 SSD is now encrypted and still worksPlease help.

Snip & Sketch does not work in W11?

I upgraded my W10 to W11 on Sunday. Sunday morning (W10) I used Windows+Shift+S and it worked fine. After upgrading to W11 I tried to use this again, but nothing happened. No error, no grey screen, just nothing . In the App store, I read that many users have this problem after upgrading. I have been talking to MS Support and they checked and tried, but with no result. I'm very pleased with the help and the patience from them, they really took time to help.

-this is what they did:

-took over my screen

-check my settings: all OK

-made changes to Register

But unfortunately with no result. As writing coursebooks for Word & Excel for collegues and students, I use(d?) this option often. Does W11 throw me back in time by using (ALT-)PrintScreen and cropping the figure? I would like to think that every new version would be a step forward in stead of a step backwards.

I hope that someone knows a solution.

Hmmmmm, restarted the W11 update and it got to 8% and stopped with this message:
"This update can't be downloaded and installed because it's not yet ready for your device"
I know my hardware is OK as I checked some time back. It may be because I have Winaero tweaker and Spybot beacon set to change some settings and block whatever telemetry etc relates to M$ sneaking around. Not to worry, if that stops W11 all the better *Smile
