Windows 10: satellite p55_A5312 resolution issue

Discus and support satellite p55_A5312 resolution issue in Windows 10 Graphic Cards to solve the problem; I have a Toshiba satellite p55-A5312. due to some strange reason there is no 1920 x 1080 resolution.there is no option after 1366 x 768.i have tried...     satellite p55_A5312 resolution issue


    I have a Toshiba satellite p55-A5312. due to some strange reason there is no 1920 x 1080 resolution.there is no option after 1366 x 768.i have tried every driver I can lay my hands on but no luck at all...please someone help me...thank you

    ovi maps inaccurate

    This is more a satellite problem. You need at least 4 to get a good lock. But with only 4 satellites, the resolution might be up to 50-60 meters. So, the more satellites , the better resolution.

    Satellite view of OVI Maps

    Satellite imagery is available at different resolutions for different locations. Cities and built up areas tend to have higher resolution satellite imagery. You get the stripes when it runs out o resolution. Example, you get a lovely high res imagery of
    Dublin, Ireland, zoom in then start moving northwest at the same resolution and as you leave dublin, the imagery will be replaced by stripes. Same happens when you use googlemaps on your pc, expect instead of the stripes, you get a blury mess as the background.



    So short answer, it isn't a problem with the phone or server. It is due to the resolution of the satellite imagery available for that area.

    do the drivers detect your display properly? how is your display listed in device manager? is there any options for a custom resolution in the driver settings (ive never used an intel gpu im not sure) so you could force 1920 x 1080?

    Yes. It's Intel HD graphics family..there is an option for custom resolution but whenever I try 1920 resolution. It says exceeding maximum bandwidth...

    Yes. That's the message I get when I try custom 1920 x 1080 resolution. Exceeding maximum display bandwith

    what about if you lower the refresh rate? it sounds very odd , like a driver issue. is it since you updated to win 10 ? when was the last time it worked?

    I tried other refresh rates too. Ain't working.... Yes, it's after upgrading to Windows 10. Was fine on win 8.
