Windows 10: "Save As" Application "Not Responding" When HTML Files Are Downloaded

When I attempt to download HTML files, the "Save As" function doesn't allow me to save but comes up with "Not Responding". But it allows me to save JPG files just fine. I can also upload JPGs as you can see by the included screenshot.I've tried disabling my Ad Blocker and my Antivirus software but it doesn't make a difference. I've tried restarting my computer and I've ran a "SFC scan" because I read that that might fix it. Please let me know if you have any ideas.

Saving worpad file as html

When I save the WordPad file as "all file types" it is supposed to save with the file extension of "HTML"; however the file type listed in the folder is "Text Document" - which can't be read as HTML.

 

How .html > .doc

To save the web page as HTML, follow the steps below:

• Right-click on the web page that you want to save as HTML.
• The Save As dialog window appears. Select Web Page, Complete in the Save as type dropdown.
• The web page is now saved as a set of HTML file.

Saves log files ?

You can either read the files in Windows or my preferred method is.....

You can then run cleaner, you will see the log files listed, then if you right click you can save as a text file and then have a read. You may also get an "error reporting" log listed seperatly.
