Windows 10: Save to desk top

    I am having trouble saving a file to my desk top.

    I am having trouble saving files to my desk top. Example, I have a spreadsheet ready, file , save as and Desk top is not listed as a choice to save it. My Documents... not there. Where do I go to save the file to my desk top? Desk top is not in my Documents

    Hi Andrew,

    For us to properly isolate your concern in saving a document on your desktop, we would like to know the following:

    • Were there any changes made on your computer prior to the issue (e.g., updates, software installation)?
    • To make sure that we have not missed on anything, what troubleshooting steps have you done so far?
    • Send us a screenshot of your Display settings.

    We suggest that you try switching your monitor 1 and 2, and check if the issue still persists.

    Save to desk top

    Saving to Desk top

    When I save a doc "Save as" to desktop, the file's icon displays on my second monitor instead of my Primary. I have checked the Display settings and they are correct. This is really annoying as I keep temporary files I need on my desk top. I saw an earlier
    post, but it was never answered correctly.
