Windows 10: Saved photographs disappear

I have had numerous photographs I have saved on my computer disappear. The files are still there, but they are relabeled "Fixed Stroke". I saw a post from 2018, where someone had the same problem, but there was no solution posted. Why does this happen, and how can I get my photos back? When I open them, there is nothing visible. However, when I click Edit, I get the reply "Cannot edit photos with less than 50 pixels.

Lumia 1020 - Photographs disappearing from camera roll when charging phone

Hi,

I've recently purchase a Lumia 1020 (new) running Windows Mobile 8.1. When I charge the phone (or connect to a PC) the photographs in the camera roll folder disappear. As a temporary fix I've downloaded the "Files" app and I copy photographs from camera
roll to saved photographs prior to charging (or connecting to a PC). While this works (the photographs don't disappear from the saved photographs folder), it is hardly ideal. Hopefully, someone out there has the solution.

 

Unable to find photographs in OneDrive

I understand that you are unable to see the Photographs that are uploaded in OneDrive. I suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below and check if you are able to find the files:

1. Login to
   https://onedirve.live.com with your Microsoft account.
   
2. Check for the folders or files that are uploaded.
   

If you are unable to find the photographs, I suggest you to get in touch with the OneDrive support team.

Sign in to OneDrive.com from any browser, click the ‘?’ help icon on the top banner of the page and select
Email OneDrive support. Submit your question and follow the prompts to request support.
