Windows 10: Saved Snipped Photo Issue

Hello!I tried using the snipping tool not snip and sketch and saving it on my desktop using different formats. But why is it for me to find it on my desktop? I need to refresh it before the snipped photo appears? I only have six icons on my desktop. This is not happening before.

I'm Jin, a fellow Windows 10 user and an independent advisor. I can see that you want to find out where the photos you snip are saved.

When using the Snipping Tool the images are not automatically saved. You need manually save these photos by using the Save button or shortcut CTRL+S. A window will open up asking you where to save the image. If you want to access the image immediately, you
can save it directly to your desktop.

You can save a screenshot directly as a .jpeg file in the Snipping tool. You can do that by following these steps:

• 
  Press File.
  
• 
  Select Save As....
  
• 
  Choose a File name.
  
• 
  Select the drop-down besides Save as type.
  
• 
  Select JPEG file.
  
• 
  Press Save.

I suggest you to follow the below steps to give permission for entire system, so that you can save the files in photos and documents.

• Right click on the folder and click on properties.
• Click on security tab and select the group\user name.
• Click on edit option and check the option full control.
• Click on apply and then on ok button.

Now you can try saving the file in photos and documents and check if the issue persists.
