Windows 10: saving a doc

I have a lot of OneDrive folders, and when I go to save a new document or save an attachment in a mail message, the window that pops up automatically jumps to "This PC" EVERY TIME which sits at the BOTTOM OF THE WINDOW, very very far away from my "Quick Access" pinned folders aka the ones I regularly use. Is there a way to change this? I tried to drag "This PC" to a higher place on the window, but no luck. One more thing that just adds precious time to every action I do in Windows 11 & previous versions.

Hello,

You can simply convert .txt file to a word file by simply using a .doc as an extension. Follow these steps:

• Open file using Notepad.
• Click File.
• Hit Save as, then rename the file. (Make sure to use .doc or .docx as an extension)
• Click Save.

Incopatability with Google Docs

Try with a different browser and check if it works.

It could be a browser or browser's settings issue.

I suggest you to run the Printer Troubleshooter and check if it helps.

  Then click on Printer to run the troubleshooter. Follow onscreen steps.

opening saved docs

Hi --

the problem seems to have been that when I pressed Cntl and S to save an article from say, the NYT or Wash Post, I've not seen any options on how to save the page, only where to save it.

Then when I 've tried to open the file in My Docs, I have to scroll down a long list to find a line that says "article" which is the largest file; but that still comes up as code like all the others. Or there's a message that says the file cannot be opened.

Since there is no way to actually recover the article texts, I would like to delete all the "saved" files, but this too has been a problem for me.
