    Saving automatically to folder in which one is working


    The following question has been asked repeatedly--going back to at least 2019. How can the default folder for saving a new file or using "save as" for a working file automatically be the folder you're working in instead of a root directory or some folder that you've never used in the history of using your computer? The endless scrolling from unwanted folders back to the one you're working in and the regular "losing" of files to the document folder or OneDrive directory is maddening. Asking for the option to choose the directory the first time you save a file would be seem to be a reasonable re
