Windows 10: Saving Documents on Dual Drive PC

Ok this should be an easy one and I appreciate your help.Ok so I have a Dual Drive PC. The C; drive is the SSD where my OS, antivirus software, Quicken, Word/Excel.... are saved. D; Drive is my HDD where most of my documents, pictures, videos....and downloads are saved.Recently I had to reinstall my OS and in doing so I moved my my MS Home and Office to the C: drive SDD it previously was on my HDD drive where all my documents still currently reside.Questions:1. Should or does MS Home and Office need to be on the same drive as the OS or can I move it back to the HDD drive?2. If I should

Unable to save Word 2010 in Pc documents.

Original Title: Saving word files to documents

Just upgraded to windows 10 and can't save Microsoft word 2010 file to: this PC/documents/SOAG/labels. prompt says "don't have permission to save in this location. contact the administrator to obtain permission. would you like to save in documents instead?"
I am the administrator. this is the documents folder. when I click yes, prompt window disappears and nothing is saved. Can't save to one drive either. some suggestions in the answers section suggest turning off Bluetooth to have word function better, Bluetooth
is not connected. In order to create new folder I had to click on a security permission window. Is there something like that here that I am not finding?

Help!!! I can't use my computer if I can't save anything!!!!

I suggest you to follow the below steps to give permission for entire system, so that you can save the files in photos and documents.

• Right click on the folder and click on properties.
• Click on security tab and select the group\user name.
• Click on edit option and check the option full control.
• Click on apply and then on ok button.

Now you can try saving the file in photos and documents and check if the issue persists.

How to save a scanned document as PDF

There are some options that you can do to save the scanned documents to PDF file. You may follow these steps:

• Copy the scanned document.
• Open Word, then paste it.
• Click File > Save As > Choose the location where you want to save it.
• On Save as type, choose PDF > Save.
