  1. Saving Windows 11 for the future

I purchased a laptop with Windows 11 Home, with OEM digital license in the BIOS. I need to delete it from the disk and replace it with Ubuntu Linux for work purposes. However, in some years 3 or 4 I might want to put Windows back on and use the laptop for gaming. What should I do to make sure this is possible? Do I need a rescue/repair disk, or can I just download the ISO? What else is needed?

    :)

How do I tell Internet Explorer 11 to always save (only save) a certain filetype without asking me first?

    Hi Ladislav,

To address this concern, we suggest that you follow these steps on how to automatically save a file in Internet Explorer 11:

    • In Internet Explorer 11, you'll have to click first on a file of the type you want to open automatically.
    • This will show you the Open/Save prompt.
    • Select the Save option.
    • In Internet Explorer, click Tools.
    • Click the View Download options.
    • You will see a popup containing the file that you downloaded.
    • Make sure to uncheck the option "Always ask before opening this type of file."

Let us know how it goes.

    Thank you.

    Hi Sandra,

To help you out with your concern, we suggest that you disable the add-ons in Internet Explorer 11. For step by step instructions, go to this

    link
, then look for the title Turning off and removing add-ons.

We also suggest that you reset Internet Explorer 11 through these steps:

    • Go to Internet Explorer then click the Gear icon.
    • Choose Internet options > Advanced.
    • Click Reset.

(Note: If you have added Favorites, back up them first before resetting the browser. )

Should you need further assistance, let us know.

    Regards.
