Windows 10: Says I have apps from another PC on my E:Drive, yet I have personally deleted all of the MS...

Recently I bought Xbox game pass ultimate, but I'm having trouble downloading any apps.

I am able to download anything on my Crive, but it won't allow me to switch to my Erive to download new apps, because it says that there are apps from another PC. Yet I have checked all of the files on it and have yet to find any. I have also verified it isn't a limited storage issue, since I have well over 800GB of space. I am also up to date in terms of my Windows version.

At first, I thought it was because I didn't have admin access, which I find strange considering I am the sole user on my PC.
However, I resolved that issue using the CMD.

I'd also like to know why the Xbox launcher prohibits you from downloading apps on a drive that has apps from another device in the first place.

Today we learned that in a communique from Nadella to his troops he points at 3 top goals, so lets comment them, if you like:

Productivity is greatly hurt by Win 8 "doubling apps": you have to jump between 2 interfaces Metro and Classic and man does it have many nonsenses. We hope Win10 deletes this mess.
MS Office productivity could be so much better, starting with an animated Outlook tile. Tables in Word it gets slowly better but formating huge, multiple tables is still a pain...)

Intelligent cloud? OMG, I cant remember the times I have turned OFF saving my files to one drive as per default, it always comes back. Is this intelligent or remotely productive?

Personal computing? Let us really personalize our desktop interface, like toolbars, colors, sizes, icons, Quick access bars is far away from perfection Like adding multiple direct icons for direct printing to... more than 1 printer... ... And removing ability to watch live TV out of the (windows) box is also "great" for "more personal computing"... Or Media Player downloading wrong audio-cd info and not being able to getting rid of it...

Just improve stuff without destroying the good stuff Nadella!

 

Recover from drive - just remove my files. Does it delete data from c drive only or all the drives/partitions?

i am trying to recover from USB drive. I selected option "Just remove my files" and then i see screen with following text

• All personal files and user account on your PC will be removed.
• Any apps and programs that didn't come with your PC will be removed.
• Windows will be re-installed from the recovery drive connected to your PC.
• If you've repartitioned your system drive, this will restore its default partitions.

What is the meaning of 4th point? is it going to delete all my other partitions like d,e,f ? or it will just quick format my c drive and install windows on it

Deleting contacts from Windows 10


When you say Windows Mail Live are you referring to Mail app or Windows Live Mail?

I suggest you to try the steps provided below and check if it helps.

• Open Windows Live Mail.
• Press Ctrl + 3 using your keyboard. Right-click on the contact to delete it if it is a single contact.
• Highlight all contacts by pressing Ctrl + A.
• Click Delete located on the Ribbon bar.
• Click OK when you see the message These contacts will also be deleted from Hotmail, Messenger, and other Windows Live services.

After following the steps above, all your contacts that you have manually added to your account will be deleted however, contacts coming from third-party sites such as Facebook will not be deleted unless you remove Facebook from your account.

For Mail app:

Open People app then delete the contact.
