Windows 10: Says Minecraft is not owned on this account but it is when i log into minecraft.net?

I own Minecraft, the whole game. I bought and downloaded it from minecraft.net. I have been happily playing and can log in and see all the information there. Perfect... no.

I would like to play cross platform with nintendo switch users, but cannot because it always say i don't have the game purchased. How do i like minecraft on the pc to my microsoft account? I will not purchase the same game i already own just because it's not purchased directly through windows. Is there any way around this?

It looks as if the existing minecraft server will use the new system without modification - It needs to be able to access the computers on the network in a two way link, which is the standard for Workgroup and Homegroup

It's not something I have any direct experience with but a quick read suggests to me that you will not need to do Much if any reconfiguration of the existing server

Once you got a Minecraft account, you have to PM newtekie1 with your Minecraft username so he can add you to the safe list and give you the address to the server.
