Windows 10: Says my storage is full when really I have way more storage

hello,I play sims 4 and download custom content for sims 4 to enhance my game. I have 1tb of storage on my laptop but it is saying that I ran out of storage and now I can no longer download any content which is one of the main reason I bought this laptop. I want to fix this immediately and there is no help I can find. Hope others will find this and relate and help!

Internal Storage devices being detected as removable devices

I would suggest you to update your storage controller driver.

Method 1: Update Storage Controller Driver

Follow the steps.

• Press Windows key + X key and click Device Manager.
• Expand the Storage Controller.
• Right-click on the Storage controller Driver
  and select Update Driver Software.
• Wait for sometime and check if the issue persists.
• Restart your system.

Method 2: Uninstall and then reinstall Storage Controller driver from the Manufacturer's Website

Follow the steps.

• Press Windows key + X key and click Device Manager.
• Expand the Storage Controller.
• Right-click on the Storage controller Driver
  and select Uninstall.
• Now, go to the Manufacturer's website and download the latest storage controller driver.
• Once the download is complete, double-click and run the setup file to complete installation.
• Restart your system.

• Click System and select Storage.
• Under Save locations, you can change where the files, apps and others will go.

Storage card is now "storage card2"

Just encountered this myself the other day. What you have to do is remove your storage card. Then go into file explorer. Find a listing for storage card and delete it. Then when you place your storage card into the phone again it should now be named
storage card. Currently your phone lists your card as storage card 2 because it has a listing for storage card already. This might have happened if your card was not seated already and you tried to access a program that is found on your storage card. Hope
