Windows 10: scaling hd resolution down to low res screen

Discus and support scaling hd resolution down to low res screen in Windows 10 Customization to solve the problem; hey guys, new build on my part, using an older nvidia 980 card. custom build using a crt 1024x768 4:3 monitor. is there a way to scale down higher...     scaling hd resolution down to low res screen


    hey guys, new build on my part, using an older nvidia 980 card.


    custom build using a crt 1024x768 4:3 monitor.


    is there a way to scale down higher res content to my lower res monitor? im picturing 16:9 content, 1920x1080, being letterboxed on my screen.


    any ideas? thanks!

    Increasing mirrored screen resolution

    Hi Sam,

    To further assist you, we would like to know what is the make and model of your HD TV? We also suggest that you check if there's an option to change the resolution through your TV.

    You can also follow these steps on how to adjust screen resolution through Control Panel:

    • Open Control Panel, under Appearance and Personalization, click
      Adjust screen resolution.
    • Click the name of your HD TV, then click the drop down for Resolution.
