Windows 10: Scam or safety hazard?

I just got an alert on my computer telling me "your computer is infected with Trojan viruses and it is infecting microsoft servers." It also tells me to "please call support immediately and do not shut down or restart your computer because it will spread the viruses more and all of your data will be deleted." The number it's trying to get me to call is +1 833 880 2499. Is this a scam or a serious threat?
