I got a fake "Microsoft Seccurity Alert" with a voice telling me not to switch off my computer but to phone 0203 307 2621.The computer was locked up so could not click on anyhing.I DID NOT PHONE THE NUMBER>I was suspicious so phoned a friemd and asked them to enter this telephone number into the "Who called me" website.Reports indicated this was SCAM.So pressed Ctrk-Alt-Delete to access Task Manager and selected 'Sign out'This returned me to the Windows opening page.I then ran Malwarebytes to check for a virus - there weren't any.I hope tis helps other victims.

    :)

I am getting continuous scam warnings that say they are from Microsoft saying Microsoft has found a problem with my computer and to call a number. How do I clear my computer permanently of this warning?

    Scam?

No, that's not a Microsoft phone number.

All these kind of pop-ups/alerts are fake warnings - scams. Never ever call these numbers.

    Please read:

In case you keep on getting these fake alerts:
