Windows 10: Scan from operation panel on Canon TS8352

Just replaced a TS8250 with a TS8352 and now can't scan from the operation panel (no PCs are listed except Local (USB)
From what I can gather I need to have 'IJ Network Scanner Selector EX2' installed if I want scan over a network from my PC or the operation panel
I could scan to another PC from the old TS8250 so I guess the s'ware must have been installed?
Perhaps it was removed when I tidied up the old printer's drivers/s'ware?
However, I'm struggling to find a download which is odd so has anyone got a download link?
Am I on the right path?
Any ideas?

Canon PIXMA MX472 All-in-One - Scanner did not install

Like the previous poster suggested, unplug the USB cable from the printer and turn off the printer.
Start the installation of the drivers, watch the install windows VERY CAREFULLY as there will be instructions as to when you need to plug the USB cable into the printer and turn the printer on.
I ran into this exact scenario when I installed my printer after a Windows 10 Pro install (1909).
The printer ran fine but when I tried to use the scanner, no dice...
Printer is Canon MG6820.

The only other thing I can suggest if that doesn't work is to turn your firewall off, turn off any anti-virus software, and then do the driver installation again following the install windows VERY CAREFULLY.
I had to do that step on a Windows 7 Pro PC in order for the scanner to work.

Canon MG4250 can print but not scan documents on Windows 10

Thanks, Pawan. I have installed the latest version (26.1.16), but I still cannot scan.

I have looked at the Canon website, and there is a long list under "Canon Printer Diagnostic Utility", many of them free. Which one would you suggest that I download?

I would suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below:



Method 1:

Run Hardware and Devices troubleshooter.

• Press “Windows key + X” and type “troubleshooting”.

• Select “Troubleshooting”.
• Select “View all” on the top left corner.
• Click “Hardware & Sound”.
• Click on “Hardware & Devices”
• Follow the on-screen instruction to run the troubleshooter.

Method 2:

I would also suggest you to download and install the latest driver software in compatibility mode referring to the link mentioned below:



Make older programs compatible with this version of Windows
