  3. scan folder

    Hi Vegas,

If you are looking for certain files, you can always use the search function in
    File Explorer.

You can also check your Recycle Bin in case the files got accidentally deleted.

It's a good practice to always keep a back up of your important files and that's where the
File History come in handy. For instructions on how to back up and restore files using File History, please refer to this
    article.

Let us know if you need further help.

    scan to folder

That's a rather generic description, not much information given such as what error messages do you see, did you check with Ricoh for updated software for the device, etc.

Check if there's an updated driver, determine if the printer is compatible with WIn10

My comments apply to the Ricoh W2400/W3600...

A local business went from WinXP to Win8 and had the same problem with the same error message. Comments from other users indicate that Win8 uses a new version of SMB (3.0) that the Ricoh does not understand. Presumably Win10 uses the same version.

Ricoh tech support confirmed the issue and advised there was a firmware upgrade that would resolve the problem. The machine owner did not want to go that route so I set up an FTP Server on the PC and configured the scanner accordingly. Fortunately the change was transparent to the end-users.

So, I would check with Ricoh about a firmware upgrade for your scanner.
