Windows 10: scanned documents won't save in windows 11

Discus and support scanned documents won't save in windows 11 in Windows 10 Gaming to solve the problem; I'm using a HP printer/scanner, which worked just fine on Windows 10.     scanned documents won't save in windows 11


    I'm using a HP printer/scanner, which worked just fine on Windows 10. After upgrade to Windows 11, anything I scan will not save ...says not enough space on the disc... There is a huge amount of space on the disc. I have tried switching the save location and also updated the printer driver...still won't save a pdf scan. Anyone able to resolve this one?

    How to save a scanned document as PDF

    Hi Chuck.

    There are some options that you can do to save the scanned documents to PDF file. You may follow these steps:

    • Copy the scanned document.
    • Open Word, then paste it.
    • Click File > Save As > Choose the location where you want to save it.
    • On Save as type, choose PDF > Save.

    Hello,

    By default, scans are saved in a Scans folder inside the Pictures. Here are the steps on how to get there:

    • Press Windows and type pictures
    • Click Pictures and double-click the Scans folder.

    SAVING SCANNED DOCUMENTS
