Windows 10: scanning a document

after scanning a document in control centre 4 error message shows up cant create file scanning failed cc4-205-0000000-12 have scanned a document in control centre 4 on my old windows xp works fine and also scanning from my printer the document doesnt show up . the printer and scanner works fine . any body else had this problem and know how to resolve it

By default, scans are saved in a Scans folder inside the Pictures. Here are the steps on how to get there:

• Press Windows and type pictures
• Click Pictures and double-click the Scans folder.

Furthermore, we suggest that you repair your Word application by following the steps on this

How to save a scanned document as PDF

Hi Chuck.

There are some options that you can do to save the scanned documents to PDF file. You may follow these steps:

• Copy the scanned document.
• Open Word, then paste it.
• Click File > Save As > Choose the location where you want to save it.
• On Save as type, choose PDF > Save.

Step 1: follow these steps to scan and save the document to your pictures folder.

Browse to the scanned file

Select the Document

Click the Share tab

Click Share

This will bring up the share menu

Click Windows Mail

It will automatically attach it, compose your message then send it.
