    Scanning and troubleshooting Hardware on a Custom PC with separate Laptop


    Hello,I am attempting to scan all the hardware a custom pc that overheated, so i can see what is salvageable for a new custom pc, and what had to be tossed. I was going to scan every part with a separate laptop. Is there a program I can use on said laptop to scan the hardware.

    hi joydeep sir can u suggest me some software name to run hardware scan on custom pc like motherboard diagonastic test ,hard disk drive and ram and usb.

    Windows defender custom scan does not scan external drives

    I have Defender Windows 10. I tried using custom scan to select and scan external drives. The screen listing the drives comes up, but the "OK" button remains grayed out so unable to scan any of the drives listed. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Bluetooth is not working — troubleshoot claims I don't even have it

    I have done all the following steps:

    - installed bluetooth driver from manufacturer
    - hit windows update
    - updated / uninstalled bluetooth items listed in Device Manager and restarted the PC
    - updated / uninstalled USB drivers listed in Device Manager and restarted the PC (USB drivers automatically came back but not bluetooth)
    - turned on and restarted all bluetooth support in services.msc
    - conducted bluetooth troubleshooting
    - conducted hardware troubleshooting
