Windows 10: scanning issues

Discus and support scanning issues in Windows 10 Gaming to solve the problem; No matter what I do, when I scan a document it comes out as separated and individual documents and there's no option for scanning to a PDF.     No matter what I do, when I scan a document it comes out as separated and individual documents and there's no option for scanning to a PDF. I've tried all settings.... Jpeg, Tiff, etc, I've never had this issue with my Mac!

    That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

    At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

    Hello,

    By default, scans are saved in a Scans folder inside the Pictures. Here are the steps on how to get there:

    • Press Windows and type pictures
    • Click Pictures and double-click the Scans folder.

    scan and email issue with windows 10

    We realize the inconvenience you are experiencing with Scanning and sending emails. We will certainly help you.

    It would be grate if you can reply to this questions to assist you further:

    • What happens when you try to scan?
    • Do you receive any error message or code?
    • What exactly happens when you try to send e-mail from your system?
    • Are you facing issues with Mail app? Do you receive any error?

    Meanwhile, I suggest you to run “Hardware and Devices” troubleshooter to diagnose the exact issue.

    Step 1: Follow these steps to run the troubleshooter:

    a. Type troubleshooting in the search box on taskbar.

    b. Click troubleshooting in the search results.

    c. Click "View all" and then click "Hardware and Devices".

    d. Click "Next" and follow on-screen instructions.

    Step 2: Also you can update drivers from the Device Manager and check if it helps.

    Follow the steps to update drivers from the Device Manager:


    • Right click on Start button, select
      Device Manager.

    • Find the drivers which needs to be installed and also see if there are any warning symbols. If yes update the drivers.

    • Right click on the scanner device and click on
      Update driver.
