Windows 10: scarlett 212 focusrite sound card issue

hello. I have a problem with this soundcards I use for music production: I can' get to have the recording meter bar working in the audio panel, in the recording are, where it is flagged as connected and as preferred device, with the green mark on it.

Please help!!!! my music career is in danger!!!!!

Rode PodMic and Focusrite Scarlett Solo Constant static noise!

So I got my Rode PodMic when it was released probably less than a year ago and along with that, I bought the Focusrite Scarlett Solo. This happened today, I was playing online with my friends and I had to go eat breakfast and when I came back everything
was fine right, but then I moved and my computer was frozen and then it gave me the blue "your pc ran into a problem, we will restart it for your screen" it did that then I rejoined discord and btw my mic and everything was working fine before this, but my
Mic just sounded horrible and it was all static (I still could hear my self just not as clear) when I talked, I tried to mess with the settings in discord, no luck, I voice recorded myself, no luck, it sounded the same as it did in discord. The one thing is
I don't think it's an issue with my mic (as it's plugged directly into my Focusrite Scarlett solo via XLR) and when I connect my headphones wired to it and turn on direct monitor so I can hear myself it sounds perfect and just like it always has been sounding.
I think it either has to do with windows but maybe not since all the drivers and such are installed properly or it has to do with my Scarlett (USB c to USB a, but that's my only one) cable to my pc or something in my Scarlett. It also could be something in
my motherboard that's messed up but I don't think dust can just magically mess my mic up from inside my pc. My last option is to post here, I can give you any extra details if you want just comment and EVERY comment and feedback is much appreciated!

 

Sound issue at booting up

I suppose you are having latency issue while using the Focusrite Scarlett 6i6 with your computer.

Try the following one by one, please.

A. Refer the article

B. I recommend that you remove all the external devices including the Focusrite Scarlett 6i6 sound card. Once done, restart your PC and check the audio using an integrated sound card.

If it turns out that the audio is working fine without the use of Focusrite Scarlett 6i6 sound card, get in contact with the Focusrite Help Centre to get the further assistance
