Windows 10: SCCM wont import any drivers

I'm in the process of setting up a new SCCM server and migrating data across from the old one using migration jobs. So far everything has migrated fine, except drivers. SCCM 1602: W10 Driver import fails

Hello folks,

I'm currently struggling with an Windows 10 installation.

Actually

the installation task sequence is running smoothly but some drivers are

missing. I already identified the drivers, but I can not import them

into SCCM.

Error from the DriverCatalog.log:

Does anyone have a hint what to do here ?

SCCM Version is 1602 (5.00.8355.1000)

 

SCCM 2012 R2 SP1 import Surface Pro 3 windows 10 drivers

We've recently upgraded to SCCM 2012 R2 SP1 on a Windows 2008 R2 server just so we can start doing Windows 10 deployments. When I try to import the Surface Pro 3 Windows 10 drivers I get this message - Error: Some driver(s) cannot be imported successfully.
See following details.

Error: Failed to import the following drivers:

<Driver> - The selected driver is not applicable to any supported platforms.

There's a knowledgebase article at
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3025419?OSMCSignIn=true&wa=wsignin1.0 but does anyone know if it applies to our version of SCCM too.

 

Unable to Add Windows 7 Drivers to SCCM

I am trying to create drivers for an HP Workstation Z400 in SCCM, so that when I start a network boot image through SCCM, it loads the drivers. I have been able to do this for newer models with current Windows 10 drivers. However, the Z400 does not have
Windows 10 drivers, the most applicable set of drivers is from Windows 7, and those do not import successfully into SCCM.

Is there a workaround for this? Could I use whatever base set of drivers Windows loads into their imaging disks/ISO's?

Also, I am aware that there are better ways to load drivers as part of an image. This is our policy and it will not change in the near future; please help me with the issue presented.
