Screen Activity shows 0 time used for my kid's account

From the desktop, I logged into check screen activity and was unable to see any activity. I have 2 kids with different screen time restrictions for the PC and I usually can see screen activity. It was reporting correctly until October 1, but then after that, it showed 0 minutes used per day.

Separately, I logged in the app on my phone to see location and the app states "We could not find their location"

I followed this https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4026901/microsoft-account-fix-screen-time-limits-not-working. and I updated everything, restarted.

    I still get these responses.

    Can someone assist?

    Shak

Activity time issue in Family Windows 10

    Hi Frank,

I suggest you to refer the link below and check if the settings are set right.

    Set limits for your child.

Also refer the link below and check if that helps.

Monitor your child's device use with activity reports

Do let us know if you are able to monitor activity time. Thank you.

Kid screen time: gaming time versus school work time

Thank you, It seems to work.

I've created two accounts. Me been the only admin of the system (s), I do install only app games on the gaming account, while office and school apps are installed for all users.

    • Kid-gamer account: is limited on daily screen time, have controlled Microsoft Store purchasing capabilities, and allows downloading stuff, not installing it (admin rights).
    • Kid-school account: unlimited screen time, no Microsoft Store purchasing capabilities (not even free stuff). Any application that is required to be blocked can only be blocked after been used for the first time and reported on the "family"
dashboard. That is a pretty easy way to do it.

Same for web sites containing inline games. After been used for the first time, they can be added to the list of blocked sites.

Having to wait for an application or website to be visited for the first time to be able to add it to the list is not proactive. Any smart ideas on that regard would be appreciated.

Has Edge any embedded functionality we could leverage ?

    Thank you !

kids screen time presentation microsoft account

    This really bothers me.

The screen time for my two kids in the family section is presented completely differently.

For one kid the screen is presented just like a simple table with columns:

day, as early as, no later than, limit per day.

But for the second one, the presentation is more modern, it is almost like logon hours in active directory.

    The columns are

day, daily allowance, and graphic like logon hours in active directory.

This discrepancy is really getting on my nerves. I really want this to be presented in the same way for both kids.

    Help will be appreciated.
