Windows 10: Screen Blacked Out Completely When Using Pen in Microsoft Word

Hello, I've discovered this issue recently when trying to fill out forms on Microsoft Word with my laptops touch screen & pen.In the middle of writing the screen would suddenly go black, and I could not get it back up again. Tried CTRL+ALT+DEL in hopes that maybe it was just the program, but it would remain dark. It made a few beeping sounds, before I decided to force it to shut down by pressing and holding the power button.It would boot up without any issues, until I tried to do the form again. Dell Laptop screen goes black and stays that way during video/pen drawing on Word

I am a teacher using Zoom and Microsoft 365 Office to present materials. The past few weeks every time I am zooming and open Microsoft Word and begin to draw using the Pen and writing tablet, my screen goes black, though camera stays on, participants
continue to see what is on my screen, even though I can not. Attempt at CTRL-ALT-DEL to end task or intervene short of shutting down computer does not work, as nothing appears on my screen. I can use Zoom annotate function with tablet without issue and any
other app without problem. Have attempted the fixes of Advanced-Disable Graphics hardware acceleration and Pen-use pen to select and interact with program by default without change. If not on Zoom, the screen blinks to black but doesn't stay black, returns
to Word. If not using writing tablet and using mouse, same thing occurs...goes black, stays that way or blinks. Looking for fix as it has greatly affected ability to use Office for education.
Bottom line: After removing all other accessories and apps, Office 365 causes screen to flicker black or stay that way whenever trying to use draw function (with or without mouse, on
or off Zoom) Please help!!!

• When the screen was blank, were you able to see the cursor on the screen?
  
• Did you get any error code or error message?
