    Screen blanking at lockscreen/login no longer working?


    My install randomly and arbitrarily stopped blanking the screen at the lockscreen after 1 minute like it normally does.
    I checked console lock display off timeout and it's still 1 minute, I have to wait 15 minutes (time I have set for the display to turn off when sitting on the desktop in power settings) now for the display to turn off.
    I changed absolutely nothing, I unlocked the computer, watched YouTube, then locked the screen and noticed this started happening, I figured maybe it was cause it thought there was still media playing in firefox, so I closed Firefox and also tried rebooting, but no change.

    Lockscreen slideshow does not work


    Are users on your pc forced to press Ctrl + Alt + Delete in order to skip the lockscreen and get to the login screen? On my pc customizing the lockscreen only works if this function is disabled meaning users only have to press a key to get to the login screen.

    It's a desktop pc and I'm the only user, so I have it set to log in automatically.

    Screen blanking at lockscreen/login no longer working?

    Windows 10 1909 Pro X64 (18363.535) can't change login screen

    I recently did a clean install of Win10 Pro 1909 X64. It has been updated to 18363.535.

    I have set the lockscreen to use Windows Spotlight images. I have set the slider to do the same for the login screen.

    The lockscreen properly displays the Spotlight images.

    It does not work for the login screen. My screen is the old image of a beach, framed by what looks like a cave opening.

    Any suggestions as to how to unbreak that? (I'd prefer to not do another Windows re-install.)
