Windows 10: screen brightness doesn't show up and performance reduction when unplugged from external...

I'm using Windows 11 23H2 on laptop, the screen brightness slider has disappeared. This has happened very often and I usually had to reset/fix windows in order to get it back. I usually use my laptop with 2 external monitors, which worked fine, and when using the laptop alone, there is a lot of issues like slower processing despite the laptop being plugged in lags a lot in photoshop even on a 1000px x 1000px 72ppi canvas and the disappearance of the brightness slider in the action menu. When I plug back in into the 2 external monitors both 2k 144hz with the laptop screen disabled, the perf

Hi,

Some computers can let Windows automatically adjust screen brightness based on the current lighting conditions.

To manually adjust the screen brightness, we suggest following these troubleshooting steps:

• Click Start, then select Settings.
• Choose System, then select Display.
• Under Brightness and color, move the Change brightness slider to adjust the brightness.

I`m sorry I had not noticed that the text on the picture was in spanish. It says that windows has replaced some damaged clusters in "name" file and "directory". Then, at the end "an unspecified error occurred (75736e6a726e6c2e 4f6)".

I`ll do it and I`ll be updating this thread when I have the report.

Can't adjust brightness when the power plugged or unplugged

Hi there,

• Previous status:

brightness 100%, plugged in; brightness 50%, unplugged.

When I unplugged the laptop, the brightness will decrease down to 50%. And will increase back to 100% when the laptop plugged in back automatically.

• Current status:

Always keep the last brightness setting, no matter laptop plugged in or unplugged, the brightness doesn't change.

Is there any way to fix this problem? Thanks!
