    Screen capture lost/missing


    I recorded a meeting using the Gamebar screen capture and it should have been saved automatically to the capture folder. However, the most important clip is nowhere to be found while other clips I recorded after it missing clip were there. I'm sure that I saw it 'saved'. Where do I find this missing clip? Please.

    assist you better with the issue, kindly answer the following questions:



    • Did you try to boot your PC in Safe Mode? If yes, did you encounter the same issue?
    • Did you have any Xbox application?
    • Is that screen capture tool a third-party application?

    For further troubleshooting, kindly follow steps provided on this article to Use
    the System File Checker tool to repair missing or corrupted system files    .

    Screen capture missing

    Hello!

    I always use the xbox screen capture to record my lectures on my pc. I never had this happen before so I'm quite lost.

    I started recording and everything seemed to go well. Once I ended the recording, I wanted to check the outcome by clicking on the notification of xbox (normally it always takes me to my "Captures"-file). But the video was missing, there were older captures
    but not today's one!

    When I open the Gaming bar and look at "show all captures", it is also missing there...

    Did it not record at all?? Everything seemed to be as usual, with the little box on my screen counting the time and indicating it was recording...

    Is there any hope I can still find the video somewhere on computer files?

    TPU Capture

    Great tool, fantastic. http://www.techpowerup.com/downloads/search.php?q=tpucapture

    For all those that dont know TPU Capture... its a screenshot tool that allows fullscreen or selected box screen capture... WITH automatic upload to TPU server. It saves a lot of steps. Great. Recommended.

    BUGS

    1./ TPU Capture can only capture Screen 1. It cannot capture 2nd screen (or more)
    2./ If TPU Capture window is moved to the second screen, then at some point the PC has only one screen, ie. not connected, disabled, etc. The TPU Capture window is "lost in space". It is not coming back to what screen real-estate actually exists. This may occur with resolution changes also.

    Hope bugs can be fixed, but even with bugs its very useful utility *Toast :toast:
