    Screen Dim After Windows Update


    I can't control my screen brightness after the latest Windows 10 update. After looking through posts, many people have the same issue, and I'm supposed to go through this convoluted process to be able to brighten my screen again. No Thanks. I'm not a cat. I shouldn't have to shine lights on my screen to be able to see it. I shouldn't have to look for solutions to the problem. Against my better judgement, I agreed to the last Windows 10 update. I generally avoid them because of the issues they cause. I won't make the same mistake again. Hey Microsoft - send someone over to my house - FREE - to fix my screen brightness control.

    How to dim screen?

    I tried googling Windows Ten, "how to dim screen," but the layout listed is not the layout I have. I just got Ten yesterday. How do you dim the screen?

    I can't even find the options in the Display section.

    Have read the blogs. Windows 10 needs to make it EASY for people to dim their screen. This is my 3rd Toshiba laptop and it was easy to adjust the screen on all 3 including this one, until windows 10. Will buy a new laptop without Win 10 before I'll go
    through all the steps to dim screen in win 10 that is listed in the blogs I've read. I did stall an APP that helped but screen still hurts my eyes and creates a headache. Anybody have an EASY answer. It was so easy to work with DOS and windows 3.1. It's been
    a pain for a lot of people ever since they came up with the REGISTRY. Thanks people.

    Screen Display Dim

    Since I updated to the new windows 10 version, my display is quite dim. I go into settings to adjust it and it will not let me. The brightness is at full and the screen is at about 20%.

    Suggestions to fix?
