    Hello,I found another similar thread with troubleshooting tips, but this tips do not work for other poster nor for me. This other post was from August 2021. Is there new information now that can fix this issue with my screen dimming until I manually brighten it in the display settings. Thank you.

    Only auto turn of Screen without dimming

    Hello,

    right now I have windows set up windows in such a way that it turns off the screen after one minute of inactivity. But just before the minute is over, it dims the screen before, and then turns it off. How can I change this so that it ONLY turns off the screen
    after one minute without the dimming?

    screen dimming too fast

    the screen dims like after 10 seconds of inactivity, and eventually goes dark after about 5 minutes. Where do I find the setting to regulate this?

    Windows 10 upgrade screen dimming

    My Dell computer (all-in-one, less that one year old) came loaded with Windows 8. I partook of the Windows 10 upgrade. After it last updated (today) when I hover over a link on a webpage the screen dims. When I roll away from the link the screen goes back to full brightness. This never happened before the upgrade. Other than that everything is fine. Any suggestions?
